Are over the counter prenatals the same as prescription ones?

Hi melanie,

you can get pre natal vitamins at most chemists, you don't need a prescription for them unless your doctor advises you that you need a particular type or brand.

You can get them at any store. They all contain the right vitamins and they arent too much. My sisters doc gave her them for free, like samples each week. Ask your doc.
