Q: Pregnant And Working

Rob stopped by this coffee shop earlier today because there was a help wanted sign, and he asked for an application for me and asked if I wanted to fill it out and work a few hours on the weekends there.

I'd love to get some extra money, and rob even asked if they'd hire me in my condition(pregnant) and they said yes.

Did anyone work while they were pregnant? Do you guys think I should try it out?

Yes I am currently working right now and its not bad at all, I think a coffee shop would be perfect for you, not too stressful, you dont want a stressful job like waitressing. Starting out my first trimester I was a waitress and well lets just say it didnt work out too great, but now I am working for a cingular wireless store and its great I get to sit on my a$$ all day! Lol

Yeah, well i'd be waiting counter( kinda like waitressing) but it wouldn't be too bad, and I guess the tips are pretty good especially in the morning. Laughing

i think i'll do it,and see how I like it. Smile

Chanda, I just went in one day filled out an application and they hired me on the spot, its an idependently owned cingular store so I didnt have to go through a long hiring process at all. If you want to work for a cell phone company but dont have much experience the independent ones will more than likely hire you (if they need help of course) but to work in a real retail store some only require high school education and some require experience too but you just have to look around. Oh and its best if you have a resume, if you've worked before then its not hard to make one if you need help I can help you!
