Strange Feeling In Chest
Hi,
i was wondering if it feels like a "flutter"? That is what I get. I have had ecgs etc.. And Dr. Has found nothing. It is an extra beat or two. I get it sometimes when I am exercising...Sometimes just doing nothing.

No pain just concern. I think you may call it an arrythmia??

Its possible that you may have mitral valve prolapse (mvp) which is located between the upper left chamber and lower left chamber of the heart. The valve is made of tissue and opens and closes as blood flows into the arteries. With mvp, the valve can swing back further than its supposed to causing leakage in the blood flow process making your chest feel fluttery.

If it feels too uncomfortable and the episode doesn't seem to stop, bear down (like tying your shoe) and strain lightly.

Mvp
Mitral valve prolapse is massively overdiagnosed esp in north america

most fluttering sensations are ectopic beats

panic attacks
I have had similar problems with diagnosis of panic attacks. I have a severe history and believe that it might be the only problem; however, may also be indicative of a systematic illness. Definitely have it checked out and request a second opinion if you have to. I am doing that now.
