If you want a really cheap way, my friend who used to break out really bad just used hydrogen peroxide and it worked really well on him! I have extremely sensitive skin, so everything I use makes me break out more!

I use neutrogena oil free acne wash and clean and clear blackhead clearing astringent. Works wonders for me! I also do a mint julep mask every once in a while.

I use all this avon crap that my mom orders, it works really well, and if I use any other brand it'll mess up my face. But I haven't been breaking out lately, only when I touch my face and theres grease on my hands or something.

hydrgoen peroxide is really really bad for you! You should never ever put hydrogen peroxide on any open cuts, zits etc on your face because it makes them scare a ton! It'll dry em out quick, but they scar!

My mom went to beauty school for a few years.. When she was a normal human.. So she used to always tell me about that hydrogen peroxide no no.

Oh and-- kinda off subject, but I got hydrogen peroxide in my eyes this summer and ended up with really bad chemical burns in them and permanent damage. So be careful! Haha

Really? Ive never heard that...We always used it as an antiseptic as well as a gargle, and no one has ever told me that it causes scarring...Thats scary

Yes, you can use it as an anti septic, on cuts on other parts of your body are generally fine, but your face will scar.

I love proactiv, it works really well, but it is expensive. Since i've been pregnant my skin is really sensitive and the harsher the soap and astringent I use, the more my face breaks out.

Right now all I use is noxema and witch hazel. There's this clean and clear soap that works really well. I'm not sure what it's called but it's not the one with the microbeads. It comes in a dark purple tube. It works really well.

I dont have acne, and never did, so I dont know what to tell you!!!!

My sister uses proactive and she loves it.

There's this facial cleanser (im not sure of the brand) but its in a orange tube. When you put water on it, it gets very very warm, and then you massage it into your face, and then rinse with cool water. The warming of it opens up your pores, and cleans them out, but you .H.A.V.E to use cool water to rinse so that your pores close back up.
I have it somewhere in my house, i'll go look for it and tell you the brand. I know its like $3 from walmart.

I wouldn't use neosporin or rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol overdries your skin, so it actually makes it produce more oil that could cause breakouts. Even if you use moisturizer afterwards, I still wouldn't personally reccomend it. And nneosporin, well, yeah, I just think that would cause you to break out more from greasiness.

I just started using revitalift (anti-aging cream) and it's actually a great moisturizer.

While neosporin and neutrogena never worked for me, when I would use otc products I would use something without a strong benzole peroxide % only because my face is really sensitive and the stronger ones make my skin dry out and tear real bad! My face is still clearing up now but I am using these swiss products from arbonne and they seem to be working.
