I have not had my period in 2 months yeah I know I should go to the docter but I can't afford it right now ive always been pretty irrulgular but not like this I took 2 test both negative. Im worried that I might have something wrong with me I want children in 2 years and I hope that this does not affect me. Ive read so many things on the internet that may be wrong with me its kinda scary. It also says you have more of a risk for cancer with late periods. My mom said its my weight gain that is causing me to be like this I have gained 50 pounds in the last 3 years. Crying or Very sad im not huge but I have put on some weight could my weight gain cause me to not have my periods?? About 3 years ago I lost 60 pounds and my mom said I was regular then I can't remember I did not become irrulugar till I started having sex 3years ago. Please help me!! Thanks

Re: 2 Months No Period
I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. I gained about 30 pounds and I would have a period every 2 to 3 months. I went to my doctor and she performed a number of test on me to find out if I had a hormonal imbalance or an overactive thyroid. All the test came back negative. My doctor advised me that as long as I had a period every 3 months everything should be okay.
I did finally lose the weight and now my periods come like clock work (every 28 days). So, I blame the weight for my irregular periods. I hope this helps.
