Q: Stomach Problems

I'm not sure what is the problem. Once in awhile (maybe once a month) I go through a stage where when I get hungry I get so nausious that if I don't eat something (even just crackers) I feel like i'm going to throw up. I'm a 48 year old woman and am not pregnant. Any ideas of what this problem could be? It seems to go away on it's own after about a week. I'm suffering with this problem right now. It started on sunday morning (3:00 a.M.)!

I would go to the Dr. I was just diagnosed with an ulcer that is caused by bacteria and can be cured with antibiotics. My symptoms started with occational severe pain but have eased off. Now I have sour stomach with mild stomach pain and some nausea. Don't ignore it, it could be easily diagnosed and treated. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

You really think it could be an ulcer? I would have thought an ulcer would be associated with pain and all I get is "extreme" hungry feeling and if I don't eat something I feel nausious. I had the symptoms for about a week and then they went away. I'm having it a little today, but it doesn't hurt it just feels like I want to eat anything that's not tied down! Lol! Smile
