How did the doctor determine her weight. I wonder how much my baby weighs

They take measurements and figure out the babies size, but im not sure what else is envolved. I can ask my daddy he is an ultrasound tech =)

whoa that's awesome!! So when you get preggers you'll have sooo many ultrasounds!!

They gave me one this time - a printout, but it looks just the same as the one I posted recently that was a good picture of her face, so i'm not gonna bother posting it! She is getting very hard to see on the u/s machine, prob because she is getting so big!

that's cool your dad is an ultrasound tech. It has its ups and downs you know.

I know about the measurments because that is what I get done with my mid-wife but yea ask him how they know about the how much the baby weighs.

Lol my fiance's sister in law is a u/s tech, I get/got one every 2 wks

i would have one like every two weeks too just to see my baby.

I know its sooo exciting, but its one of those, in and out quick things lol my next one is nov 18th!!!

I only got one done, I wonder if I can ask for another one you think my mid-wife would be like sure you can have another one or would she be like no we only give one.

5lbs damnn ! I only got 1 ultrasound at 18 weeks ((and then another one at the hospital only because I had to because they thought I had some wierd band)) but I dont get anymore sonograms unless they feel something is wrong,, looks like I wont get to find out if its a boy or girl.

i've had 5 so far!! Once at my first appointment. They were checking for an ectopic pregnancy. Then at my first appointment at 10 weeks for no reason at all! Then at 19 weeks to find out the sex, at 27 weeks or so because she stopped moving, and now at 32 weeks to see how big she was.

Oh! I forgot to mention that she's already head down!

Congradulations erin, tru is getting so big, getting ready to come into this world. Not too much longer to go. Wow, it seems to have went by so dang fast! *hugs to you and tru*

I would like another one done. The first one I went to I was I think 16 weeks they said everything was fine and they saw the sex and that was it. Thank god for that but I would like at least one more.

I'm going to ask my mid wife next week when I see her I will be 29 weeks.
