Just Found Out I'm Pregnant!! Posted: 11-04-04 00:50am
I recently just found out I was pregnant,
I took 2 hpt's. They both turned positive
instantly. The thing is I haven't been to
the doctor yet, I have to wait a few more
days to find out how far along I am. I'm
so worried about the things to steer clear
of to avoid having a miscarriage. What
causes a miscarriage anways?

The dont really know what causes is early
in a pregnancy. Early miscarriage is
usually related to a chromosomal or other
genetic abnormality in the embryo. It can
also be caused by the mothers body failing
to reproduce an adequate supply of
pregnancy hormones. Environmental
factors- such as poor nutrition,
infection, smoking and alcohol and so on.
( I had a miscarriage at about 7 weeks)

I kind of figured there was no way to
prevent it, i'm 26, just turned 26 on
halloween. I found out I was pregnant 2
days before my bday, lol. So i'm not
exactly sure when my last period was, it
was either september 26th, or october 3rd,
no sooner, no later. I know the doctor
probably won't be able to tell me how far
along I am unless I know exactly when my
last period was. I just never thought to
mark it, I didn't figure that it would
factor so importantly in my life right
now.
it's too bad I have such a bad memory.
Lol.
Oh yeah is it normal to have weird
cramping occasionally, almost like you
feel your period is coming on but
different. Is that a sign that you're
going to miscarry or is that normal??
Congrats on the pregnancy, the doc will
be able to tell you exactly how far along
you are when they do your ultrasound, he
will probably give you a date based on
your info but they will readjust it as
needed.

You know whats weird is I like nevvver
remembered the date of my last period till
I got pregnant for some reason I just knew
it and that date like glued to my
memory...
All the other times it was like "when was
your last period" I was like uh a couple
sundays ago? Haha

Lol, yeah that pretty much sounds like me,
well you never think to keep track of it,
because before I was on the bc pill and I
was able to keep track that way. Anyways
so if i'm guessing right i'm either 5-6
weeks pregnant.
it's too bad I have such a bad memory.
