Sorry, i'm new. I figured perhaps I could just ask a question about getting pregnant in here, maybe it could be answered. If not, feel free to flame me as much as you want...
I'm on birth control, and when i'm supposed to get my period I take placebos for 7 days. On the last day, my boyfriend and I were having sex, we did a type of "pull out" thing, and I was wondering if it's very probable for me to become pregnant from any pre-cum that was there.
Or does my birthcontrol, which is still in my system, give some added protection?

I had a busy weekend, the next day we had anal intercourse (as I was uncomfortable with him ejaculating in my vagina) and it was the first day of my new cycle of pills.
I've been on the pill for over a year now.

If some of the cum did the weird "seeping" thing into my vagina, would my pill probably protect against that? Even if it was the first day of the new cycle? I'm very paranoid about this right now. Any info would be amazing.

Again, sorry if this wasn't the place to put this.

Hey. Welcome. And no question is stupid. I think you are ok. The pill most likely protected you if you tkae your pill correctly. The pill is suposed to be lik e99.9% effective if taken correctly. I am sure you have nothign to worry about.

I doubt you are pregnant sweetie. Normally, if birth control isn't going to work, it will not work in the very beginning. Sounds like it should be working just fine for you, I never take the sugar pills. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Thanks for such a quick response, I feel a bit better hearing from someone.
So you think i'll be okay? Whew, I hope so. I'm ulta-paranoid about stuff like that, because I always take so many precautions, I figured that because it was the last day of my placebos, a pull-out wouldn't do that much damage, and I figured i'd be okay about that "other" thing *shudders* lol.. Oh geez.

Anyway, again, thanks so much.

Oh! Ps: the only reason i'm freaking out so much, is because that was the first time i'd ever let my boyfriend be inside me without a condom *nods*, so I haven't had any experience with just the pill working on its on.. I always double team!

We did the pull out thing on the last day of my sugar pills. I had been still bleeding during the day, but it seemed to have tappered off by the time we did the pull out thing, which is what has me paranoid. When we had anal sex (i feel dirty saying that lol) it was the first day of my new cycle, so I was on an actual pill.

Im confused, lol. If you are on the birth control pills I doubt you have anything to worry about. Sometimes sex can cause your period to get lighter, that has happened to be before...But then it continues normally.

Ok. Sorry i'm so confusing. Here, lemme try a step by step walkthrough

i'm taking my pill, and I get to the end of my "cycle". Which is when I start my sugar pills. Ok?

I had my period for the 5 days I always have it, and on the last day of my period (when i'm still on no pill, except sugar pill) my boyfriend and I have sex, and he pulls out.

The next day. I start my new cycle. Taking the first pill of the "month".

See why i'm paranoid? I'm afraid that since I was on no pill, and then on the first pill, that I might get pregnant.

That's no reason to be paranoid, every girl who is on birth control takes the sugar pills. As long as your up2date on your other pills, you should be fine.

Oh I got ya now. Nope, dont worry about it. It wont matter...Because those pills are still in your system. Thats just how birth control works, you have nothing to worry about. So, you think since you were on the sugar pills...That since he "pulled out" that cum may have gotten in you..So now you think you might be preg. Because you dont think the sugar pills protect you? Lol

I'm only paranoid because of the possibility of pre-cum while I was on the sugar pill. That's all.
The anal thing i'm not so much worried about now. Because I had taken my first pill that day.
I think i'm just confusing everyone, sorry, just forget I asked.

But you are on birth control sweetie, do you think you arent covered since you are taking the surgar pills?

Can you get pregnant while taking the birth control 'sugar pills'?

Although the birth control pill is never 100% effective, the chances of you getting pregnant are next to none if you take them properly. Even while on the sugar pills, you are still protected from becoming pregnant. When I was on birth control pills, I never bothered taking the sugar pills. Basically they are just a reminder when to start your next pack.

*fyi*
Hey yall! I just stumbled onto this website and I just wanted to let yall know...Yes you can become pregnant while you are on your sugar pills. The sugar are "reminder pills" and a time to have ur cycle. Since it is just a sugar pill, you can become pregnant. The regular pill is cleared out of your system after 3 days so, therefore, if you have sex while on your sugar pill, you can become pregnant, even if you do take ur pill exactly when your suppose to. Ask me how I know? Look at my screen name.. :) yeah..It happened to me...
