My drs office just called, they saw multiple problems on my ultrasound. I have to go in today at 2 to talk to them, then to see a specialist tomorrow for a level 2 ultrasound. I'm soooooo upset, I feel like my world is crashing down. Please keeps us in your prayers
Aww hun. I know there is nothing I can say to take away ur pain just keep ur hopes up and have faith. Im sure ur baby will pull through no matter what is wrong and u will not love him any less. Pray pray pray and I will do the same, keep us posted. ~ erica.
Did they tell you what the problems were? I know this sounds like bad news, but remember not to get yourself down until you have all the information. There was a girl on here a couple of months ago that her doc told her she had amniotic band syndrome, which carries a 100% fatality rate for the baby. After days of worrying about it before they could do conclusive tests, they found out she didn't have it after all.
Yea that was me...Aww u remembered me .They freaked me out.. I still havent gotten another unltrasound since then and im 28 1/2 wks. I hope they give me one soon I have to ask about that tomorrow at my Dr. Appt. I wanna know if its a boy or a girl !
I know its hard but try not to stress yourself out too much until u find out whats really going on ..Good luck
Babe how far along are you I heard at 7 months the baby can still survive prematurely... What is a level 2 ultrasound.... Be careful and take it safe i'll be thinking of you guys! Omg I hope everything is alright
A level 2 ultrasound is typically what is used in a tertiary care center, as compared to the standard ultrasound equipment that is found in many obstetrician's offices. Often, people have a detailed scan of the baby's organ systems in the mid-trimester as part of routine care. A level 2 ultrasound would be better called a "targeted" scan. It also should be noted that the difference is not made so much by the equipment, as by the operator.
