Q: Spermicides/withdrawl?

Two questions:

can spermicides seriously increase your risk of urinary tract infections? Are there any other bad side effects?

And how risky is withdrawl? My partner is extremely self-controlled, but we're concerned.

Thanks!

Pre-ejaculation causes pregnancy. The chances of getting pregnant with withdrawal method is approximately 20 women out of every one hundred. Try typing the msn search your other question and see what links come up

You can very easily get pregnant by using the withdrawal method(as was stated before)and it has nothing to do with your man's self control! He has pre-ejaculate fluid to help lubricate his penis and it is not something he can control!!!It is released automatically when he is aroused. That is why so many women find themselves pregnant and the guy says-"well,i pulled out, can't be mine!"spermicides are effective if used with a condom.Used by themselves, they are not so effective. Please educate yourself to protect yourself!!!There are many effective methods of birth control and many are very affordable.Condoms are easy enough to get, just go to any drugstore and pick up a package.Used with a spermicide(also available right by the condoms!!),condoms are very effective and protect against std's as well. Some women are prone to infections with spermicides. It's a good idea to urinate right before and as soon after as possible to help decrease your chances of bladder infection.Hope this was helpful, good luck!Patty
