Sorry love I am not sure if that is normal my daughter is 3 weeks and i'm breastfeeding. I don't think it's unnormal though...

I don't know about the colostrum bit... But I do know that if a woman has had children before then her breasts are "always" capable of making milk. You could actually adopt a baby and be able to breastfeed. I found that out when I was reading a book on breastfeeding...Don't know if that helps...

i think the point was that colostrum is only the first milk, after 7 months you would not be creating colostrum, only normal milk.

I had my daughter 9 months ago on thursday and I notice sometimes that I am still makeing milk. I stoped brestfeding when she was 3 weks old, with no help from hubby but I dont know if its normal but I hope so cause it still there

yes it is normal for this to happen once you have had a baby you can still have colostrum my sister had her last kid 4 years ago and she still has it.My other sis had her kid 2 years ago and still have it..Iam 14w5d pg and just stoped nurseing my 3year old in dec think got im done but I have not had no colostrum yet...But after I was done nurseing my daughter what that was almost 8 years ago I was done nurseing her at 4 mounths due to working and not haven much milk...I did have colostrum 3 mouths after I was done..So it can happen to any one..No worries it ok..If you8 think you pg I would do a test to be sure..

Extremely eHealthy

When I had my son I produced milk and once dried up I could still squeeze my nipples and some would come out. It did finally go away, however now that I am preggers again it's comming out of my breast all on it's own. Sometimes it's so bad that I have to wear a pad there. Don't know why this is, but I am going to the doctor and I will ask why this is.
