Q: Advice About Buspar

Been taking buspar (30mg/day) for about 3 weeks now. I take it on top of 100mg of zoloft each day. Although my anxiety symptoms seem to get better, they still creep up on me and last off and on for 2 or 3 days then they go away for about a week. The most common symptoms I have now are just a constant nervous feeling, maybe a twinge of lightheadedness. Should I take confidence in the fact that the symptoms are getting better over the 3 week period? Should I just give the buspar more time to work?

Honestly, I am feeling a lot better and feel like I have made great progress since being diagnosed with anxiety back in june, but like everybody else with anxiety, I just wish it would go away for good. Zoloft has worked well in taking the edge off of anxiety, I was just really not pleased with the extremely long length of time it took to get the full effect of it.

Any feedback from anybody who has been on or is currently on zoloft, buspar, or both is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!
