Q: Condoms, Pre Cum And Proper Use

I used to be on the pill and use condoms at the same time. I had to go off the pill six months ago because of how sick it would make me. I have been just using condoms. I feel as though we use them properly. There is no genital contact before the condom is put on, we use ky jelly, we squeeze the tip for air and before my boyfriend pulls out. We always check for holes using water as well.

However

about a month ago we were having sex and he went half way soft for no reason but not soft enough for the condom to slip off. I am worried there may have been precum in the condom and it may have escaped into me since he went slightly soft. I am worried it may have swam up to the top and gotten out. Is this impossible? Should I be worried? Am I using condoms effectively enough?

If it was a month ago you can test to see if you're pg. If you have other concerns such as sti's it may be too early to see.
If "for no reason" the condom slipped off then there really isn't much you can do about it... Penises get hard, and sometimes much to the shagrin of the woman they get soft. I'm sure you're using it right, just a freak accident.
Good luck

Sounds like you and honey are using condoms correctly, but you may want to use a spermicide as a lube, just for the extra measure of protection.Good luck to both of you.Oh, and get a pregnancy test to ease your mind. They are fast and inexpensive.Patty
