Q: Psoriasis Or What???

Hey everyone I am 16 years old and psoriasis runs in my family, my mother and father both have it. I have had what is called "raindrop psoriasis" on my stomach before. About a year or so ago I had places come up on my stomach yet again. I went to the doctor to see if he had any idea what it was and he cut out a piece of my skin to have it sent off. When the results came back it basically said that they didn't know what it was. I have psoriasis on my elbows and stuff, but I have no idea what is on my stomach. They gave me the elidel creme and it doesn't really help all that much. I noticed that when I went to the tanning bed that it helped it some but not to much. When I have moisture on my skin the places turn red. They look like little circles all over my stomach. Does anyone have any idea if it is psoriasis or eczema. If so, what can I do to help it???

I have eczema and my bf has psoriasis. My experience is that eczema itches a lot. Tanning is supposed to help both. Try taking a lot of oatmeal baths, and use sensitive skin products. Good luck

Honetly, it sounds like..Why? But I was misdiagnosed, and not diagnosed twice and then finally, somebody just knew. Give other doctors a chance, it is worth it. For a peace of mind.
