My girlfriend has been on the pill for 3 - 4 years now and never had a problem. Of late she has been getting diarrhoea that I didnt know about. I have heard that when a female is suffering from diarrhoea that the pill will not work at all?? Is this true? We have been having some problems lately, we had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago, and now she is saying that she is getting morning sickness. Is there a chance she is pregnant?? Pls help.

Dirrhoea does affect this pill's effectiveness because it purges the hormones from her system before she has a chance to absorb them. She could be preg. I'd take a test.

Best of luck and strong negative hpt vibes to you,

I don't know if morning sickness can come after 2 weeks, but at 2 weeks a pregnancy test is accurate. Set your mind at ease and have her take one.
