When I run outside or on the treadmill my legs particularly my thighs burn/itch extremely bad, however if I do aerobics or run on the eliptical machine they are fine. Any ideas why?

Mc
my legs burned and itched too when I first started running on the treadmill but now I guess my body is use to it because they don't burn anymore. I think the burning sensation is a combination of new muscles being worked or the shock of your legs hitting the treadmill as you run. But that should go away or atleast it did for me.
