Hi my name is sam and I suffer from epilepsy and my partner melanie gets migraines a couple of times a mnth only since she had a car accident 4 yrs ago and damaged her lower back is it possible the migrains she suffers are caused by that they sit above her eyes and the back of her head and neck as she takes painkillers for her back they dont do much for the migraines which make her sick hopefully someone might have some answers as we dont. Or could it be something else like a form or epilepsy.? But a mild case. As her sister had epilepsy for 5 yrs as a result of a car accident and had to have a metal plate put in her forhead.

Thankyou

I am so sorry that she is having so many problems. Migraine and seizures are sometimes linked together. Has she had an eeg to see if more is going on?

I hope you can find answers for her. Many seizure meds also work for migraines
