Womens Conditions Forum - 7 Months W/ Out a Period????

Hello,,,,

it was nearly 7 months I had not seen my period. I believe my problem was a supplement I was taking (ephedrine) for a long time till I just stopped taking it. I ahd been on it for nearly 3 years. I had all my hormones and thyroid tests come back normal. I decided to try a very low ephedrine once again, sure enough I had a bleed 5 days later, after 7 moths. Why is this? Must I be on this all the time or maybe I can cycle it from time to time?

Haven't you heard about this stuff???!!! Over 800 people have died from this or have gotten awfully sick from this! Find something else! They have taken this off of our store shelves here! I tried it for a while and I started getting sick on it, I threw it away! Please read up on this, don't mess up your life!!!!!

Yes I have read.
Ephedra was taken off the shelves. This is ephedrine. It is in small doses. If you look up mua-huang, the original chinese herb, look it up.

I know what you are talking about and unfortunately it was taken off due to so many people abusing it.

Cinabonn, I hate to disappoint you, but what do you think ephedra was made of?? Ephedrine!! I don't care what herb it comes from, it's still bad!!!
