Help Me!!! Posted: 10-12-03 14:39pm
Well I was just wondering how I would be
able to tell if I am going in to labor? I
have had braxton hicks contractions but
people are telling me it's not like that?
So what is it like if anyone can describe
it that would be great?I'm due to have the
baby in 2 weeks so you help would be
appreated!!! Thanks
lindsay
Hi lindsay! I am jessika and I just had
my baby girl, cheyenne a little more than
a week ago! True contractions start at
the top of your uterus, they are
persistant and cannot be relieved by
changing positions. Braxton hicks are
non consistant, they can be painful but
usually are not, and if you change
positions sometimes they will go away. I
delivered cheyenne 2 weeks early, she was
due on the 15th, she weighed 7lbs 3ozs at
birth! You are already 38 weeks so you
are already at term! Try swimming,
walking or taking a warm bath. If you
are in labor it will help progress it, but
if it is just braxton hicks, it may help
relieve them!! Good luck and keep us
posted!
Much love
-jessika-

Well to me it was like I was having my
period but very strong like a billion
times stronger this pain is unique in its
entirely pins and pokes and its very
unthinkable with me it was like there was
nothing else I could think of but get this
baby out of me hes hurting me not in the
hatret way but in the painful way nobody
can really tell you but all I can tell you
is the pain I felt your not gonna know
till you feel it and experience it :p :p
