My wife has recently developed anaphylactic shock reaction. She has had four severe reactions in the past 3 month. She requires an epi pen injection and hospitalization with each attack. She has been tested for allergies with none evident. Doctors have done all of the tests which come back ok. The doctors are baffled. Her blood pressure and heart are only slightly elevated during the attacks but she drifts in and out of consciousness. She says that she can hear people talking to her during the time she is unconsciousness but has difficulty responding. She is now booked to see an internal specialist. What is idiopathic anaphlaxis? With thanks bob

I Suffer to
I am also suffer from idiopathic anaphlaxis which basically is a severe allergic reation that has no know cause. Sometimes, mine happen while I am sleeping and have not had any contact with anything. I was good for 2 years while avoiding aspirin and all aspirin related products. I then had a reaction to a non aspirin generic pill and went into severe reaction. I have been poked and prodded and I am curious how it went with the internal specialist. What type of test did they do? My last reaction was not related to any pills, just happened in the dead of the night and I need any advice that anyone has.

Thanks

Haven't seen an internalist yet. Went to see a respiratory specialist and everything was normal. There are two more tests he is doing but will not have the results for three month. My wife also stopped taking asprin and fosimax and has not had an attack in the last two month.
