Lord,
this is a prayer from deep within my heart
I can't seem to find the words-i don't know where to start
I know you've heard my prayers and you've counted every tear
so please lord take exception to this woman I hold dear
I know you like to surround yourself with the honest, true and kind
but lord i'm sure there are others out there for you to find
because although she fits the description, and you'd like to set her free
you simply do not know how much she means to me
we've only had 19 years to love, grow and laugh
we need 19 more before you take her back
because lord there will be times when her presence is required
to hug me in my wedding dress, and to rock my babies when they're tired
so although she'd make the perfect angel to spread your love and awe
she's needed down here on earth, where she makes an even better mammaw

hey ya'll. Just a quick update....The other day my grandma (mammaw) who is the thread who holds my family together....She raised me and my cousin...And continues to be the true backbone to our family, was rushed to the e.R when she turned deathly ill.....She was diagnosed with leukemia and nemonia or however you spell it. She isn't lookin good. But noone understands that she isn't just my grandma...She is my mother, as she is to everyone else in not only our family, but in the entire town. I refuse to picture life without her.....And it looks as though I may if things don't turn around.....So please ya'll, i'm beggin ya...Take five seconds to pray for my grandma jan. She needs it.....Thank you so much.

I am definitely praying for you and your grandma and hope that she is doing better. My sister and I were also raised by our grandmother so I know how special grandmas are.
