do you usually loose your period during the depo shot if sp how long do you no longer have your period?

i never heard of anyone getting pregnant. i was on the depo for the 3 months and i dont like the side effects so i wont be getting another shot. i've gained weight, feel dizzy when i dont eat. i've been spotting for 1 1/2 months. you can have irregular bleeding for months. usually within one year your period goes away. everyone has their different stories. you may not as bleed that long or at all. it takes a very long time to get this out your system and it may take a long time to conceive afterwards. you can check this information out on their(depo provera) website
