I'm so confused!!

I've been on ortho-tri-cyclen-lo for a long time now, and i've never had a problem with it, lol, I love being on it.

Anyway, my period has always been on time, but now for some reason its late. I'm a virgin, so pregnancy can be ruled out, lol.

I did forget to take 1 pill, and by the time I remembered about it, it was too late to take it because I was due for my next pill. Therefore, I missed a whole day. Could this be effecting my period? (it was a dark blue pill that I missed, its an "active" pill)

How did you end up on this forum june? Why are you on birth control?

Its probably from missing one of yout active pills.
I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Kristin,

here's my story! Lol... I've been dating my boyfriend tony for almost a year now. My mom was afraid that we were having sex, so she asked me to go on the pill. I told her that we hadn't had sex, but if it would make her feel better, then i'd go on it.

Basically it was her way of getting involved in my relationship, without invading my privacy. She said she didnt want to know if I was having sex, because that was my business not hers, however she wanted me protected against pregnancy if I was having sex.

She didnt force me to go on the pill, I wanted to go on it as well. This way I know that when I do lose my virginity i'm protected against pregnancy, even if the condom happened to break. My boyfriend is also a virgin... We're just taking things slow!!

How I came on this forum: I don't really remember. I know my health class was talking about teen pregnacy and stuff and I think I found this site while doing some surfing for information!! I just really like the forum, and I want a baby soooo bad, but i'm def. Waiting... I think thats why I stuck around!

Okay thanks for answering my questions, just trying to get to know you a little bit better...Sorry if I was invading your privacy by any means!! Thats wonderful to see that you and tony are taking things so slowly, that doesn't happen too often these days.

Oh dont worry, you weren't invading my privacy at all!!!! Lol!!

Yeah, tony is 20, and i'm 17, and we're both virgins. We're more than ready for sex, but seriuosly theres no place we can do it, and we dont wanna go to a hotel or anything, its either his house, or mine, lol! His mom or bro is always home, and my fams always home too! Lol
