Yes, I get the growlings as well. Sometimes, popping/bursting/cracking sounds from my stomach... A while ago, somebody mentioned a certain number of sounds from their stomach and even described them. They were exactly the kind of sounds that I get.

In my case I've noticed that when I eat something sour, it triggers the sounds. The same with sugar and yeast... They trigger the sounds...

When I eat something with flaxseed, or something with fiber, it actually postpones and reduces the sounds...

I get the EXACT same sounds that you have described.

I was in the vitamin/supplement store a few weeks ago, and I was telling one of the attendants about my problem and she asked me if I was tested for h.pylori bacteria. I told her no, but she told me to try Mastic Gum because she said the h.pylori causes problems in the intestinal tract.

At the time I thought to myself, Mastic Gum is for uclers and heartburn, and I don't have either. So today I starting thinking about my stomach problem and what could be causing it. I have tried expensive probiotics, cut gluten, wheat, trigger foods out my diet. I thought to myself, it has to be an infection or parasites. Anyway, I googled h.pylori stomach noises and came across a few post where people actually had h.plyori and their symptoms was stomach noises. I went back to the vitamin shop and purchased the Mastic gum extract by nature sources. I said what have I got to lose. I took my first tablet today. I will give it about a week and hopefully it will start killing the h.pylori if I have it. I will let you all know the results soon.

I urge you all to do research on h.pylori bacteria, it affects the stomach lining and duodenal(sp?)which cause problems for the small intestines.

Another thing, that I have found really helps with the noises is Salad... If not salad, I think its the lettuce that really really helps. I have observed it on more than one occassion.

I just wanted to share with you my experience with a job interview a few months ago... It was in a closed room, a small room. The first interviewer interviewed me for an hour or so, left, the second interviewer came in, interviewed me for another hours or so, left, and so on... And there were 5, repeat FIVE interviewers that interviewed me.. I don't think I started the flaxseed by the time I had the interview and I was a total mess. Everyone, kept asking me if I had to take a break or something... By the time, the last interviewer came in I was a total mess.... He even cut the interview short Smile.... I was soo tired, was angry, don't know at whom, agitated, etc...

Do you think I got the job? No. It would have been a wonderful opportunity if I had gotten it... But, on the other hand if I had gotten the job I would have had to sit in a room with lots of people in it, and I don't think I would have been able to do that 8 hours a day, on a regular basis. A few hours a day, a few days a week in college was bad enough... So, maybe not getting the job was a good thing...

Anyway, hopefully we can get our problem solved, and have a fresh start at anything that we intend on doing... At least I am lucky enough to be living with my parents... Otherwise, I don't know how I would have survived these past few years...

Sorry about the interview Gettingthere, but oh trust me I know exactly how you felt. I have to sit in a very quiet office 5 days a week for 8 hours a day. It's very stressful! I pray allllll the time that I can win the lottery so I wouldn't have to work.

I just wanted to add that what helps me the most is phazyme and digestive enzymes.

It's how I still feel in classes, or any tiny situation. Still avoiding theatres as well Sad...

Growlgirl, what enzymes and such are you using exactly that worked?

I'm getting great results when taking these digestive Enzymes
[removed]
They help a lot! The best digestive enzymes that I have tried. Essential Enzymes by Natures Source is second best.

Also, I have been taking colostrum(by symbolics) to build my immune system and taking Mastic gum(incase I have that nasty bug h.pylori).

I'm determined to get to the bottom of this problem, with or without a doctor's assistance.

Great! Thankyou!

Can you get them at a health store do you know? That'd be something I'd like to try.

I have never seen them at the health food stores. I order them online. I just ordered this week.

Gettingthere,

I've never tested for stomach ulcers, but I'm taking Mastic gum supplment incase I have the h.plyori bacteria. Mastic Gum is also good for stomach ulcers.

Never tested yet. Went to a doctor once, she thought it was normal, but to appease me I guess, she did a quick blood test. Resulted in a protein deficiency, but that was it. Otherwise, she thought nothing was wrong.

I feel like it's all just a bunch of air in my intestines or just leaking inside my body or something, I don't know. It just feels like it's too often or frequent to be something simple. I'm not sure.

Re: Food Intolerance Test
Rachie wrote:
I got a food intolerance test last night, where a woman tests for over 200 food types, as my mum thort that I was allergic or hav an intolerance to food which is causing these problems. It dusnt involve taking blood samples or anything, a blunt metal probe is pressed onto acupuncture points. Turns out I hav an intolerance to yeast, and the first question the woman asked me when I told her about my symptoms was had I been taking antibiotics recently or when it started to happen. And come to think of it I had an operation at the beginning of my school year (september), and I had to take very strong antiobiotics afterwards. And about a week or two after I took the antibiotics was when the noises started! So apparently the yeast is still in my stomach, and I hav been put on an extrememly strict diet for 4 months: no yeast, dairy, or sugar. I also take supplements of good bacteria for the stomach and hav to start taking supplements to keep my energy up as im cutting out so much food that gives me energy. Please none of u start this diet if u dnt kno wats wrong im jus telling u cos some of u may want to get a test urselves. The woman said ppl hav problems for years and years and dnt bother getting a test wen it can be solved really easily. She reckons as I havnt had the problem that long it can go away just as quickly.

Great start! I would definately suggest this to anyone. Get tested or even seek out a naturopath. Check your diet and eating habits and incorporate a cleansing program at least once a year. Diet is essential, we all can't tolerate the same foods so go find out what you are sensative to and change it. Your stomach will thank you for it.

I Know It's Parasites!!!
You all are probably not going to believe me, but I'm going to say it anyway. If you have done an elimination diet of problem foods, taken probiotics, food combining, and nothing still works for the grumbling stomach, I'm sure it's parasites(Tapeworms).

I've tried the elimination diet, probiotics, food combining, and I still get the noises. So in my earlier post I posted that it has to be an infection or parasites. I've been doing a parasite cleanse(Paragone, by Renewlife) for the past 5 days, and I have been having a lot of rumbling, kicking, twitiching coming from my lower abdomen. Anyway, this morning I passed a tapeworm. It was all mashed looking and gross! I learned how they look from the pictures from the website called curezone. I've also been taking odorless garlic capsules with Hawthron extract and eating pumpkin seeds. All of these supplements that I'm taking rid the body of parasites. Oh, I'm also cleansing my liver at the same time. I drink Benefiber, and drink plenty of water to keep my bowels moving.

I will keep you all updated on my progress. I'm going to get to the bottom of this problem. Now that I think about it, I should have taken the tapeworm/stool to my GI doctor so that she can see that I'm not crazy, when I tell her that I feel flutters in my lower abdomen. My GI did a parasite stool sample about a month ago and it came back negative. Also, my husband has the same symptoms that I have and he will be doing the parasite cleanse with me. I find it a coincidence that we both(husband and I) are "allergic" to the same food. That's why I know it's parasites!!!!

There are people who do have food sensitivities and that will not necessarily be a trigger sign that you have parasites.
However, your symptoms seem to have been a sign of tapeworm, each individual is different and everyone should listen to their own body.
I personally look for alternative solutions before I would ever consider medications however, that is only my opinion.
I had a long list of medical problems that I actually had ignored and passed as work related. I did not even consider these symptoms as parasite related until I was into the 4-5 week of the colonix program and passed parasites some measuring 24cm long. I had them tested to be sure because I was still skeptical and the report came back that confirmed my suspicions. I had passed parasites. Colonix helped me get back my health and I have been incorporating it each year to ensure I stay on top of my health. I have also had to change my eating habits because there are some foods that I am allergic to and it is not related to parasites.

I have been tested for food allergies and I came back with different results on the skin and blood test. Which one is accurate? I don't know. Either way, they were mild allergies, and I know they are not related to my symptoms. I get the symptoms even with staying away from the foods I tested mildly for.

That is the reason I said that if you've tried the elimination diet, food combining.. etcetera and you are still getting the noises, I'm saying check for parasites. Parasites are undiagonsed and cause abdominal rumbling. I'm not saying EVERBODY has parasites; and I'm aware that people have food sensitives not related to parasites. I'm just trying to help anyone that's having this embarrassing problem. Anything that I'm observing from my experience, I'm trying to share or even compare notes with someone that have the same symptoms.

I know that parasites are a touchy subject and most people don't want to go there. I apologize if I've offended anyone and don't think that I'm trying to be a medical doctor or diagnose anyone.

ETA: I reread my previous post and it does "appear" that I'm saying the problem is parasites. I apologize, but just check into it. I'm not diagnosing YOU personally.

How interesting. I was just diagnosed with the same thing. although i have the noises for about 5 years already, i hope that after treating the H-Pylori, the noises will be better.

About that interview: The problem with us is that we cannot work in a quite place, it is very bad, not something to be happy about!

Oh, Some help please!!!!

Hi All
Hello, I registered to this forum today, but I have been following it for awhile now. I too have the same thing as all of you ect. ect. and mine too started in the 9th grade (4yrs ago) I always thought it would go away so never really tried to do much about it. One thing I did try to do is carry a snack with me because at least in my case, a pretty decent sized snack will suppress the noise for about 1hr. But then again this is only if the situation is not a tense one, like a test in a quite classroom Confused

I differ from all or most of you in one way that I am fortunate enough to work from home, so there is no "quite setting" throughout my usual day. However when I go out to do stuff: friends house, movies, car rides, ect, any place that can get quite, the noises tend to return.

I am fed up with this, and from reading this thread over, it's safe to say that most of us here have the same exact 'thing?' or something similar to it.

What ever it is that is causing it doesn't even sound like it's been discovered yet. And it's sad to read that some of you have went to see a doctor and all they did was prescribe you medications. But this makes more sense because of that fact that pharmaceutical companies actually fund lots of hospitals and pay for the medical books that are given to doctors. So basically all doctors learn now-a-days is how to diagnose a problem, and then how to prescribe some type of medication a book tells him to prescribe. The problem with that is that most medications don't HEAL, they only suppress the pain. And they have so many negative side affects that you're better off not taking any to begin with. The best way cure yourself of illnesses and diseases is using god made natural organic herbs and remedies, instead of money making chemical pills.

If you have a hard time believing what I said above, I would then defiantly and highly recommend anyone reading this to get the book "natural cures they don't want you to know about" it will explain everything as well as teach you how to actually be healthy. If you can't afford the book or don't have time to read, I can provide you with a link to a torrent file and you can download the Audio book version of it and listen to it in your car. Again, I highly recommend this book for everyone.

Anyways, seeing as how I know have lots of time on my hands, I'm not going to let 1 day pass without working on this problem. I am going to try every natural stomach aiding herb or what ever else I find until my stomach becomes normal. Step 1 for now though is that I too have started the Colionix/Toxinout process, today is my first day of it. After a few days or so I guess I will know if it's parasites that cause this problem. I will keep you all informed so check back here.

I have never been on international travel, but I have dated someone from a third world country about 10 years ago, when my problem started.

That's why I know it's parasites! I have been on paragone, pumpkin seeds, and eating raw organic garlic. I keep seeing parasites in my stool. I just took a sample of my feces to my GI the other day. I have to wait a week for the results. I know the results though, so I don't need to wait for my doctor. My stomach noises are sooooo much better since starting this parasite cleans. Today, I had eaten some raw garlic, my stomach started cramping and becoming very gassy. I went to the bathroom to poop, and my feces was infested with small parasite eggs. After, I pooped stomach cramps and gas went away.

I am infested with them and I know it's going to take me more than one cleaning. I've been living with this undiagnosed problem for 10 years! I tell you all my stomach is sooooo much better. I gone into work all last week and hardly heard my stomach rumble, and if it did, it was to where no one could hear it! Usually my stomach is LOUD every morning, evening etcc... I also been eating the "trigger" foods and Nothing happens. That's how I know the parasite cleanse is cleaning my system.

If you guys don't believe me go and buy pumpkin seeds and chopped garlic cloves, eat them, and then observe your feces. You will know then if you have parasites.

forthego....I'm so glad that you are taking colonix to cleanse your system. Please let me know how much better you feel. Also, you "might" experience some "die off" but keep going if you can. Parasites release toxins when they die. Drink plenty of water and make sure your bowels are continuously moving to swept all dead parasites from the colon.

Pure pineapple juice is great for cleaning too. I swallow diced garlic cloves with water(they HATE THIS). Also, during the first few days of cleaning, if you have parasites, you will hear and feel a great deal of growling, rumbling, and movement in your lower abdomen. It will get better once those suckers start dying.

Good Luck to you and please keep in touch!
