I've had this chestpain for like approximately 5 months n the first time I discovered that I had chestpain I went to see gp and he gave me some pain killers which actually made the condition even worse. Initially it's more to like sharp pain. After it did not heal, I went to see physician, bcos I actually had this feeling bout food stuck in my throat months before I had my chestpain but I have no idea what was it, I just ignored it. I told him bout the situation n was diagnosed with gerd. The physician did ecg on me and he said it was normal. He gave me pariets 20 mg and ask me to take twice a day and asked me to go back if I dont get better. I went back to see him bcos the pills don seem to work on me, then he did endoscope(?) and he said my stomach was too acidic. H.Plori was found to be negative as well. He gave me pariets n ask me to take for another one more week, after that I asked him refer me to another physician in another hospital and there, the physician gave me prevacid lansoprazole 30mg and asked me to take twice again. I've been taking for like3 months now but my condition doesnt seem to improve much. In between the period, I actually went to consult another physician and he did scope on me n he said it was too acidic as well n asked me to continue taking the lansoprazole. He did the h.Pylori and was found negative as well. Blood test was being done and everythings normal.I've regular chestpain, it happens in the morning most of the time and sometimes after walking around for a while I dont feel the pain anymore but nowadays I do. I think its getting worse. The pain is not like a sharp pain anymore its more to like dull pain. I have strict diet as well, only eat bread, biscuits, vege and congee. Thats all. I slept with my head around 8" high but still it doesnt seem to work much. Theres one period when I felt really depressed n it makes my chestpain even worse. Once in a while I will feel this mucus/phlegm stuck in my throat, it's white. Sometimes when I was rushing assignments, or rushing to go somewhere i'll have gastric pain, hurts till the back of my body. Issit normal to have gerd this long even though im taking pills every single day, even with my strict diet?
