I had that problem too, bu tonly while I was pregnant. I wasnt sure what it was, I thought maybe I was hurting the baby. So I stopped...And when I went to the doctor they said I didnt have an infection. So I dont know what it is. Maybe your body needs a break?

How about foreplay??? Most guys tend to forget this essential piece of love-making.

This will probably sound gross but here goes.
Foreplay with fingers will gently stretch your ready for entry with the penis. Will also spread your natural lube further inside you. If he has been gently stretching and carressing with say 2 fingers before inserting his penis there is much less chance of sudden stretching as he "rams" it home.
Especially if he gets wider at the base. Try a different position such as you on top where you can control the depth of penetration yourself.
Another thing is empty your bladder - if not the pressure can make a few drops of urine leak out and this will be spread and pushed into the vagina by the act of sex itself and urine can make the vagina sore.

Good luck Wink

The same thing happens to me ! It burns while i'm having sex and for like a 1/2 hour after sex. I called the clinic because I was freaking out ((when it first happened)) I wanted to make sure it wasn't an infection or std because those can make u burn down there.. But I had no stds and no infections they told me I was getting irritated from sex because my "chemicals down there are different because of my pregnancy" sounds silly right?? And sex doesn't affect the baby at all even if it makes u burn. I was 3 mnths pregnant when it first started im 7 mnths now and it still happens to me but not as severe to the point were im like crying from pain. I dont want to sound like a b*tch but everything these girls are saying doesn't help...U basically just have to deal with it. I've tried everything from using lub to not using it ...Different positions.... Not allergic to latex because I dont use condoms.... And that fingering foreplay thing that girl was talking about doesn't help either it irritates it too.Peeing before sex ...Peeing right after sex...

That is what I was thinking...
Uti symptoms
increased frequency of urination
feeling of urgency
burning or pain while urinating
itching in the genital area
urinating only small amounts of urine at a time
pain over the area of the bladder [the pubic area or lower abdomen] or in the lower back
pain along the sides under the ribs [back and flank pain]
blood in the urine, or on the tissue after wiping following urination in women
cloudy looking urine, possibly signifying visible pus
unpleasant smell to urine
new onset of incontinence (inability to hold the urine, during the day or at night)

Arrow the only symptom I have is burning.

Yeast infection symptoms
feels like an intense itching, burning sensation, localized in your vagina and vulva. This itching is not always present, but can get really bad, so bad you can hardly walk, let alone ride your bike to the pharmacy or doctor to get it treated.
Looks like clumpy nasty white stuff. Most medical descriptions compare the discharge to ricotta cheese, but it can range from thick and not clumpy to faintly yellow to thin and clear.

Smells like bread or beer. In fact, it smells pretty much exactly like yeast, although the yeast used in brewing and baking is an entirely different species (saccharomyces cerevisiae). No bacteria could smell like that, so it's a great diagnostic.
Arrow the only symptoms is the burning.

I will go to the doctor and ask them about it.

No stds...Ive only had sex with my partner..And we have been together for a year. He only slept with one other girl, and they used a condom.

Re: Sex/burning
Hey!!! I have the same problem and it sucks!!! It's more then likely a medical condition called vulvodynia. It affects 15% of all women. I didn't know what was wrong with me untill I got on the net and went to "pain during sex" and it took me to a bunch of diffrent links. I had all the symptoms of vulvodynia!!! Don't worry it's not a disease or anything.... You can't help it if you've got it, you didn't do anything to get it. I haven't been to the doctor about it yet, but I do plan on going. I read that the doctor can do some things to help it. Here is a tip untill you can see a doctor....Lots of foreplay!!!! Have your man play around with you alot before you have sex.....Believe me, it helps!!!! Good luck and read about it..... Wink

Okay, i'v got this paper I printed out on it. It says " it is a syndrome characterized by chronic vulvar discomfort, especially burning, stinging, irritation or rawness." your vulva is like the ouside of your vagina and right around the inside. Have you had lots of yeast infections??? Because this paper says that "women experiencing vulvodynia may have a history of recurrent vaginal yeast infection." I haven't really had many...So I dunno!!!! When my boyfriend and I have sex it feels like just spots on the outside and right in the inside of my vagina burn..And kind of feel like it is cut or something. Do you feel like that? It is also always very very tight (like it was before I lost my virginity) and my boyfriend has to "play with it" alot before we can even have sex. Embarassed well...Talk to ya later...Hope that helped!!! Get back to me soon on how you're doing, or if you find anything more about this!!! It really does suck.......Bad!!!!

Yup! The whole tightness is exactly me, he can't just stick it in..Or literally won't go in. I have never had a yeast infection at all. But it just burns like the whole inside of my vagina feels like its onf ire sometimes. It really hurt when we were having sex and used lube for the first time, that made it hurt even more.

Well, if your parents don't know that you are having sex, and you don't want them to know, you should go to the health department! It's free!!! Just tell them how you feel...The burning and stuff! We shouldn't have to live with this!!! Just call your health department and set up a "family planning" appointment!!! Ttyl!!!

I am on birth control from planned parenthood, and my parents know that I was/am having sex...Considering I was preggie sometime ago. Hehe. I dont really have a gyno, just the nurse practionar that has does my paps and stuff for my birth control. When I am sick, I still go to my pediatrician, lol. You are right, we shouldnt have to live with this, and I am glad I am not the only one with this krazy problem.

Huh?? You were pregnant??? Did you mis-carry? I had a mis-carriage about 2 months ago....The most painful thing i'v ever been through (emotionally)!!! My boy friend and I are seriously considering trying for another one. Just go to your regular doc...If he/she can't help they'll set you up with someone who can!!!
