Q: Is This a Side Effect of the Meds?

I started celexa back in july and am now on 30mgs which is what I have been on for several months now.

I have found the meds wonderful and it has really helped with the anxiety. I haven't had any of the typical side effects that I was told could happen, like change in sex drive or anything like that. So all in all, I am very grateful for this drug.

The problem is that since I have been on 30 mgs I have found that I am always tired. I can't get enough sleep. Is this a side effect of this kind of med, or should I get a check up to see if it is something else?

If it is a side effect of the meds, is it possible that in time it will go away? I have heard that some side effects work themselves out in time. If this is a side effect, I really hope that it will go away in time, because I really don't want to change meds cause besides that I am doing very well on this drug.

It is probaly a side effect but talk to your dr about it just in case & have you considered alternatives such as 5htp, sam-e and ces machines??
