I am taking a cheaper generic form called mircette, so far so good..
I tried the patch a year ago, and it made me extremely sick, it might b different for u though..

The seasonale pill is a pill, where u only have 4 periods a year

Thank you for the advice.......... So was the patch hard to get a hold of? Or when you go to get put on birth control do they give you choices. Because I don't want to go on the pill. In the past it's made all of the women in my family sick. Is the patch less effective than the pill?

Thank you.

The patch is just as effective as the pill if used correctly. It is not any harder to get ahold of, although it may cost more. When you go to get birth control (after having a pap smear), they will suggest a kind. If you don't like their suggestion, tell them what type you want. They should give you the patch if that's what you want.

The patch has the same hormones as the pill so, you may have problems as well.But....You will not know until you try it.Good luck.Patty

Well i'm on yaz - the new low-dose birth control. It's just as effective as a higher dosage but not as many side effects. I've had no problems so far!

The best thing to do is speak with your gynocologist & they can prescribe whichever kind they think is right for you, based on your preferences - good luck :)
