Possible Appendicitis - Recovery Time?? Posted: 10-21-04 10:14am


I'm going to have a ct scan today after several other tests. I know i'm jumping ahead, but my doctor seemed to think appendicitis. Anyway - we're scheduled to go on vacation mid november and i'm wondering how if I need surgery - the recovery times and effects on my enjoying vacation (pina coladas!)....Thanks for the help

well most people recover over a 1 -2 week period but everyone's body is different I mean a friend of mine had her appendix taken out and it only took her 4 day's to recover. So it all depend's on how your body decides to heal. Hope you feel better Smile
