Hi, in the last few months i've been seeing a girl on & off. We got a little closer and she told me she has bulimia and that she doesn't want me around because she wants to deal with it on her own. I know from reading a bit about this disorder that pushing people away is fairly common for bulimics. I want to be there for her and i've told her many times, so we seem to get closer but then she backs out again. She says that she is afraid to let anyone get to know her. So because I was worried about her even though she told me she doesn't want to see a Dr. I found a Dr. Who specialises in ed's and let her know about booking an appt. With him. She told me that she called and booked it thanked me & told me to get lost & that she doen't want to speak with me for at least a week. Question? Should I leave her be for a week and risk her distancing herself from me even more? (this way perhaps she won't open up to me at all afterwards) or should I call her and try smoothing things over and continue trying to help her, or would that be to stressfull for her?
