Hi thanks for reading, I have a question.
I was on ortho evra patch 3 weeks on the patch (change every week) then 4th week off your period starts. After the fourth week about a day after my period me and hubby had intercourse, 11 days later I had dark brownish light spotting for 3 days, I have a tingly sensation on my breasts around the nipples then they become errect(tmi sorry),
been tired and feel bloated is this the effects of the pill? Confused

Thanks

Yeap, each one of those things is a side effect you can get. However, it's usuallt temporary and will go away within three months of starting it. Especially things like nausea. The irregular bleeding will hopefull go away, give it four good months or so to be sure. After that if you still get it you may need a diff. Dose.

I am using the patch as well, and if you applied the 1st week patch on your start day after the 4th week patch, you should be protected. The sensation you feel is normal and should go away after a while. If this is the first month you have used the patch, its most likely the cause of the spotting. You can always take a pregancy test to be sure.

Thanks all.

I've been on and off the patch after I had an horrible iud experience. I didn't get any side effects while going on the patch just after I stopped applying it the last 2 weeks. Thanks again,
