Argh, ok so I started the cleaning last night for the yeast infection ( and im still pissed off about it ). It is seriously so hard to put it in. Its this long ass tube that's actually pretty thick, thicker than a pen. But yeah, so it look me so long to put it in, and your supposed to put the whole thing in, which should reach up to the cervix, but I was nowhere near there. I only stuck in the top, like 3 centimeters of it, and when I released the cream, it didnt go in, lol. Its so fustrating! Especially when your pregnant and ur trying to squat over a mirror cuz ur belly covers it. ;\ I hate this..

Does anyone know if having the infection till delivery will really affect the baby? The doctor said something like it wouldn't harm the baby but she would have something around her mouth? That's all I remember but I can't exactly remember what.

I don't think that it should hurt your baby... Especially if your doctor said so. I mean, a yeast infection isn't like hiv or herpes or anything and can be transmitted to the baby during delivery. You should probably be fine... But i'd definitely try to get rid of it before then (just to be on the safe side)!

Will a yeast infection affect my baby?
No, a yeast infection won't hurt or affect your developing baby. If you have an infection when you go into labor, there's some chance that your newborn will contract it as he passes through the birth canal. Yeast infections in newborns are called thrush. Thrush is recognizable by the white patches in a baby's mouth; it's not serious and it's easily treated.

Well, I have never had a yeast infection, but if it is like a tampon like erin said, try laying down on a sheet on the floor and sticking yout legs up in the air. It works out pretty good, in my mind atleast.
