Q: Which Breakfast?

I work out at least 3 times a week. I eat 3 pieces of bacon and 2 pieces of sausage every morning. I want to loose weight and gain muscle. I am more concerned with weight. Should I be eating cereal instead or something else? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Extremely eHealthy
Well, you could go on atkins and therefore can eat as much bacon and sausage as you want and still lose weight, but I would just cut your calories back and eat healthier. Let's face it bacon and sausage is very fatty, high in calories and bad for you. Maybe start eating it once or twice a week and eat oatmeal or cereal the rest of the week. Or go on atkins and keep your bacon and sausage.

I highly um, despise atkins. And any low carb diet. In my opinion you should eat cereal or oatmeal every morning like fotasfrick said. Maybe some fruit too. Also, for protein, try adding wheat germ into your cereal or oatmeal. Basically just keep this in mind...

Eat less (i lost about 45 lb by cutting all my meals in half and stoping drinking soda)
eat carbs early on in the day
lower, not stop, your intake of sugar and fat
and for muscle, eat protein (canned tuna with no mayo is not fattening and has very much protein)

also, eat bacon and sausage sometimes, but not too much of it, so you don't feel deprived. If you don't want to make a drastic change, then lower it to like, 2 pieces of each, or 1 piece of each. Also remember eating fattening food like the sausage and bacon and then eating a healthful food like oatmeal at the same time won't help you lose weight.
