What are some of the names you considered for your child before they were born for either sex and how did u go with the one u have?

For us if it were a girl her name was gonna be jenna lee and if we do ever have a girl her name will be that also.

For a boy it was so hard we went in circles of tyler, cody and dominic actually I thought of dominic cuz it was this boys name from high school that I loved and just his name made me like him even more lol but eric and I finally agreed on dominic since its cute to call him dom while he is little or nick and it sounds very manly and mature for when he gets older. ~ erica.

We always knew she'd be tru catheryn if she was a girl, and we never could decide on a boy name! His middle name was going to be michael - its a long tradition in mike's family to give the first son as a middle name his father's first name. I liked london michael, but mike hated it! We both liked lane, but it was just a compromise for me!

I've been gathering baby names for the last 3 or so years (ever since I was 15). I see cool names in books or something and I write it down. Of course, boys don't seem to have as cool of names as girls, so I don't have as many boy names! But here are some of the ones that I have for when I do have kids!
Girls:
jacqueline lee
taryn mae
lilo colby
riley joy
natalie
alexandra

boys:
ryan giles (giles was my mother's maiden name)
james patrick
brian
elijah

I wanted a boy so bad and I was going to name him jude dominic. A friend of mine named dominic died in iraq a few months ago. I love the name jude for a boy.

I have a friend named cassandra and I love her name, but her middle name is francine and i'm not a big fan. It's pronounced cass on dra, not cass and ra.

For a girl... I was thinking of reyunna ashley or mackenzie ashley..... And for a boy I was thinking of dominic kenny ryan (kenny in memory of tims best friend who commited suicide last year) and we'll still keep that name for a boy or we might use chad kenny ryan. Smile danica was never on my name list lol
