Hi! Thank you for reading!! I was just wondering...I have been taking birth control for about 3 weeks. Now, I want to stop. How long before my pills wear off? Any clue? Anyone? Please reply, need quick answer!!!

Well if you have been taking them for 3 weeks then that means that you are currently on the placebo pills week and if that is the case once the forth week (off week) is over so will the protection by the birth control pills, unless you start a new pack. They wear off really fast that's why when you miss a pill you can get pregnant! Hope I helped.

Are you having problems with the pill?If you are,talk to your doc about the problems.Some side affects can be worked out with first time users
by adjusting the pills or switching brands.You did not say why you wanted to stop,if it's for another reason or what.If you do stop using the pill,make sure you do use another method,unless you are trying to get pregnant.Good luck.Patty

Do certain kinds of birth control pills take longer to wear off than others? I'm taking ortho tricyclene.
