How many has everyone had and why. I've
only had two and I had to beg for the
second one. I'm normal and low risk I
guess.

I had one when I first went in (i had to
schedule it though, they dont do it like
some of the girls at my doctors office.
You have to schedule it and everything)
because I kept telling them that I had a
period but I know that I conceived before
that. Which was at 14 week 4 days I
think...But they thought I was 12 weeks 2
days.
And then I had the normal routine one at
20 weeks...It may have been 21. But
yeah, if I want another one I have to pay
a crap load of money. Which isnt gonna
happen.

Damn straight. I here all these
girls/women talking about all 10 of their
ultrasounds, and that's just not how
they're doing it for me. They do the
ultrasound at my doctors office, but I
still have to schedule it because they
have a sonographer, my doctor doesn't do
it. They're freaking expensive.

I had two ultrasounds...One when I first
found out I was pregnant, and the second
one when I found out I lost the baby.

Wow i've had four! I had one at 6 weeks
because I thought I had an ectopic
pregnancy, one at 10 weeks for my "first"
appointment, on at 19 weeks to see the
sex, and one at 29 weeks because I hadn't
felt her move all day. And I get another
at 32 weeks to see how big she is!
Lauren, just tell your doc you haven't
felt her move in awhile and you think
something might be wrong, if she won't
give you one!

I had two so far, the second one was b/c
the doc was worried that the baby might be
too small and I might have to get another
one for the same reason but I doubt it
cause the doc said everything was fine.

they probably couldnt even tell. You
have to be further along for them to see
it, and they normally have to do a vaginal
ultrasound until your 12 weeks.

Arrgh I always gotta beg for mine too!
And the doctors keep telling me im a high
risk, so what the heck why do I gotta keep
begging for one >d I had one so far but
that was in the philippines. Hello, can I
have american technology too? Lol.
Philippines is low quality I dont trust
their stuff. I'd want everything to be
more accurate. Thankfully im getting
another one in two weeks.

Actually today I went to an e.R. In
colorado because I hadn't felt her move in
two days. I was freaking out. They
hooked me up to a fetal heart moniter and
some other kind of moniter. It took a
while to find the heart beat so that was
scary. Once they found her she kicked
the moniter and I felt so much better.
I'm glad i'm not the only one, but it was
pretty scary.

I have had I think 5 ultra sounds, 1st one
at 7 weeks for my first appointment, then
again at almost 11 weeks (no reason for
it), then one around 21 weeks, then at 23
weeks (emergancy to make sure she was ok,
after I was attacked) and then one
recently when she wasn't moving as much as
normal for 4 days. I doubt I will get
anymore though.
