It may feel a little uncomfortable..But yep that just stick their fingers in there and see how it feels..The cervix is the lower section (the 'neck') of the uterus, which protrudes into the vagina and dilates and effaces (widens and thins) during labor to allow the passage of your baby. The cervix is usually about 2cm long and has a small opening at the end - about the size of a pinhead - which will dilate (widen) and efface (thin) during labor. The cervix, while far back in the vagina, can be reached during an internal exam.
I am sure it will go well for you!

The farther along in pregnancy u are, the more uncomfortable it gets. Cuz they really got to dig around and go all the way up to ur cervix and see if its thinning and/or dilated so it gets a little gruff... But its over with fast so dont worry too much

Well I didn't get to go to the doctor today cause my b/f had to work and no one could cover for him and I couldn't find anyone else to take me.

I think it feels very uncomfortable. Its like a pap. They dig all inside to check and feel the babies head, when I was checked and stuff, I walked funny for a while after lol. It hurts!

Yeah, it will be okay. Once you get to a certain point, you get to go in every week just to make sure the baby is okay!! Your little one is going to be here pretty soon!! Are you excited?
