I recently applied to work in a photolab at cvs pharmacy and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was like working in a photo lab or the wages..

My moms a photolab manager at loblaws (a grocery store)
i can ask her some questions for you..

I actually worked 1 day there lol and it was alright. Not all that difficult, easy to pickup.

Ok.. I want to know what the average wage is ( I know it may not be accurate but just an estimate) and what type of stuff they do and how old you usually need to be to work there, and what responsibilities they have. Just the usual basic stuff.

heyy. Sorry the reply is late. Anywho. Average is approx. $7.25 an hour. You would pick up orders, develop pics (its not hard. They have a black box you remove the film, then you develop it in chemicals, afterwards you put it in a machine and it'll develop the pictures), some photolabs do lamination (my moms doesnt..She sends the orders out), put pics on cd (pretty simple. You put the film in the scanner and upload it on the comp. Then burn it onto a cd), sell stuff. Thats about it. You have to be 16

I know that at wal-mart you have to be 18 to work at their photo lab. You would probably make a little more than minimum wage but not much.

Actually at the walmart photo lab, u only hafta be 16 to work in the lab.

Ooh.. Sounds alot better than dishwashing for 6.50! Hopefully they hire me for photlab and josh for cashier.. That would be sweet!!!
