Q: Every Day? Every Other Day?

I have heard much contradictory opinion on how much I should be having sex while trying to conceive. Some friends insist that every other day is better, while my doctor and husband both say every day during those "magical" five days makes more sense. My doctor, while she has heard about the every other day theory, feels more sperm swimming toward that egg is better...Even if the sperm count lowers slightly, we are still sending more into the area than if we waited every other day. I think my husband just likes having a bunch of sex!
I'd be really interested to hear some informed opinion of people who have read up on this or whose doctors have given them some information.
Thanks. Smile

My husband and I did it every day during my fertile time. Opposed to only doing it once on my ovulation day which we we're doing the previous months before. Only because we we're on vacation visiting the family and he was away with the military. The first month we had to have sex every day we did and I got pregnant. I also put a pillow under my hips to raise them. That worked with my last pregnancy and this one. I say every day. It makes mor sense to me.

Best of luck to you

The only situation where every day would be a problem is if your husband had a low sperm count. If his count is normal.......Have fun!!

Good luck.
