Could someone please give me some advice. My daughter,7, who is normally very active has had a stomach ache for over a week now, she has a loss of appetite, her eyes are dark under them and she is not interested in any of her normal activites. I took her to dr last thursday and he did nothing but felt of stomach. I took her to er this morning and she is constipated but she keeps stomach aches and the darkness under her eyes is worrying me, her blood work was normal although I don't know what all tests they have done.

Ive always heard that darkness under eyes could be from sinus or allergy trouble, does she have anything like that?

Has her diet changed at all? Has anything happened at school which might upset her? Is she normally happy or is she moody? Is she normally constipated??

I think sometimes you have to ask the doctor for specific tests. Like, "can we have her iron level tested?" don't be afraid to push, this is your child! Ask a zillion questions, it's their job to do this! Good luck. Keep us posted.
