Hi I'm also 5weeks. I've been experiencing
more of like a dull cramping not as bad as
"period cramps". In one of my many books
it stated "growing pains" due to the
ligaments stretching as the uterus grows.
Just wondering if anyone else has had
these type of feelings.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and not only do I
have abdominal cramping, but I also have
been bleeding. It's very unusual, I've
talked to my doctor and he said that it's
normal when the location of the egg
implants itself. I have an appt. soon,
but I was just wondering if anyone has had
any similiar symptoms.

Its rare but happens...Since u feel like
your on your period and it is time and
everything but there isn't blood...There
is a such thing as a "silent"
period...Which is just as I
explained...Talk to your doctor...I
wouldn't be too worried....

i'm 9 weeks pregnant and have been having
similar cramping to yours. I asked my
doctor about it since I miscarried last
april. She said cramping is completely
normal as long as it's not accompanied by
blood.

i am 7 weeks pregnant and am experiencing
the same cramping that you described. It
is not as bad as period pains, but feels
very similar. I have not been to the
doctor and I was wondering myself that
same question. I am glad to know that
this is happening to others, so it does
not seem abnormal.

Tubal Pregnancy

I am 7 weeks pregnant. I have this
annoying cramping on my left side. It
doesn't cramp all the time, mostly when I
walk for a long period of time. I am not
bleeding or anything, and the pain is not
severe. Should I be worried that it is
tubal pregnancy?

Sum Up All of These

Ok, first of all, everybody's body is
different. Some women cramp during
pregnancy without bleeding. Some cramp
and bleed, and some have none of the
above. I have heard it all. "it's not
good when you cramp, or bleed, it may be a
sign or miscarriage." or "it may be a sign
that the egg has planted itself to close
to the cervix." doctors all have their own
experience in what they believe to be a
healthy pregnancy.
In my own experience, I never had normal
periods and had to go on the pill in order
to. Once I got off the pill to try to get
pregnant, I think my body was messed up
from it, making it harder for me to carry
properly.
I've had 3 mc's since last oct all
accompanied by continuous cramping, then
immediate bleeding. They were all 6-7 wks
along, and it was frusterating. But, I
pulled through and got some help. Now I
am 22 wks, and healthy pg. I had some
mild cramping in the first few weeks with
this one, but nothing like the others.
Just monitor your own body, nobody knows
it better than you. (not even the
doctor!) I know this .........
Good luck and keep a watchful eye on
things. Just don't stress about it.

Bleeding At 6 1/2 Weeks And Very Nervous

I started bleeding last night. My first
prenatal visit isn't until oct.1. So I
called my doctor immediately and saw her
just this morining. She did na
ultrasound. She couldn't see my baby
(embro), but she did see a cyst on one of
my ovaries that she want to keep and eye
on. She also said it was good the I
wasn't cramping and that my cervix wasn't
dialated! She prescribe no rest or
anything. Just said take it easy.
"easy" whatever that means. I'm scared!
I've been trying to get pregnant for over
a year. This is my first pregnancy.
I'll be 35 in october and was very excited
about the prospect of being a mom. The
bleeding is red and so far only when I
wipe (i.E. I'm not bleeding onto a panty
liner yet). But it is very similar to
when I first start my period. Can anyone
offer some calming advice? Amoon, I red
your post and would love to here more
about your pregnancies. Also, carrie
wolf and megan, i'll keep you in my
prayers.

Okay, I'm not 100 percent sure I'm
pregnant, but I definatley have the
symptoms...
I started my period March 27th,
I waited for my period in April and on
April 24th-25th I got a super light
spotting, similar to what is called
implantation bleeding......
I took a pregnancy test and it was
invalid....
and now it's May 9th and I'm having
cramping in my lower abdomen...almost like
menstrual cramps....
If I'm pregnant...this would make me 5
weeks pregnant correct?
Is all of this normal?
What should I think?
Is it too early to see a doctor?
&& When should another pregnancy
test be taken?

Well if its any consolation. I'm 13 weeks,
14 on monday, and I have cramps all the
time. Its from your uterus growing, unless
your having bleeding, heavy bleeding i
wouldn't worry. But if its really
bothering you, call and make an appt. with
your doctor
