Hi, I am new to this. But I am pretty worried and would love some advise.
Any ways
i had sex for my first time in july, we used protection but I was still worried so I took the morning after pill. ( I just had received my period the morning after I had sex) my period lasted for 11 days, the nurse said the pill flushes every thing out so my cycle could be different. I had sex again, at the end of august. We used a condom. I received my period on september 11th the day it was exactly expected. It lasted for 3-4 days. I just finished my period this month well a week ago. I got it on october 8th and it lasted for only 3 days. At first it was heavily bleeding then spotting. Is there a chance I could be pregnant??? And if there was a chance I was could I still get an abortion? Just lately I have had backaches and ive been feeling bloated.

Please help
thank u

You could be, but there is a very small chance... When you get your period, it is the lining of your uterus shedding because the egg wasnt fertilized, so basically it is chemically impossible to get your period while pregnant.

I think it can happen in rare occasions, but it isnt common.. If you are still worried, take a home pregnancy test, as you said august was the last time you had sex?

I dont know about the abortion thing, i'd wait until u found out if your really pregnant before worrying about that

by the way,im michelle.. Im 15 and pregnant withmy first child.. Pm me if u need anything:)

goodluck

I really doubt that you are pregnant....You recieved your period, and there are many things that can make your cycle short...Like stress. Or the morning after pill. I know you've heard the, use protection lecture many times...So i'll just say you should try some birth control so every time you have sex you don't have to worry about things like this...Sex should be fun, but responsible...

Yeah, all the reply's have made me feel better... Thanks : ) it actually means a lot. I did get birth control but im not on it.... Because I am not having sex. I know I did get my period twice but I have felt bloated.... Kinda funny but thats pretty much it.... Is backaches and being bloated and having this image in my head that my stomache is getting bigger. It's just been sticking out a little more than usual or could it be in my head?

I'm going to take a pregnancy test though just in case. Sex should be responsible and not make you worry as much as i'm worrying now! I just can't afford to be pregnant im only 16. How possible is it to still have your period and be pregnant?

Would gaining weight be the cause of my stomache sticking out a little?

A lot of things could cause your stomach to stick out, like bloating or water retention from food, or it even could be psycho somactic.

When I used to be active even though we'd be very careful and use protection i'd be very paranoid and nothing ended up happening. Stress did cause me to be late though, a cute little trick our body plays on us.

If any of you were in my position, what would you do? If I go to a clinic will they just tell me to get the hell out of there since I have had 2 periods? What if the test comes out positive, and what happens if it's negative and I still feel it isnt right. What can I do to stop worrying so much!

Thanks girls Rolling Eyes

The clinic I went 2 they were so extreamly nice. And they are not there 2 judge you only 2 help. I was scared when I went 2 get tested but if you think about it, im sure they have seen it all and nothing will suprise them. Its better 2 know for sure then 2 worry about it. Good luck!

You should still take birth control, even if you're not having sex "right now". Give it a chance to be in your system because you never know... You sound more paranoid than pregnant. Your stomach wouldn't stick out yet if you were pregnant right now, you're probably just retaining water. Good luck to you in the future and start taking your birth control!

Yeah well all of this is pretty assuring...... I think I will take your advice and go on the pill so I won't have this worrying game any more. Tomorrow I have an appointment for a pregnancy testing.... The first question they asked was well how many days late are you I just said uhm! Im not! But the woman said oh I see you would just like to get it done to have some reassurance which is true. But I was on the optionsforhealth.Com and it says that along with a pregnancy there is a pelvic exam to? What happens there??

What would the symptons be if you were 8 weeks pregnant? Is there a chance I could just be experiencing a stomach flu or sickness or something?
Thanks : )

Being 8 weeks pregnant is different for everyone. I never really felt sick but that could have been because of my miscarriage. My boobs hurt a little but I just though "there growing!" when I was about 4 weeks I was hungry all the time and would eat a lot. But I normally do that when im gonna get my period. It all depends on each person everyone is different.
