I have recently had an echocardiogram. My doctor said that it was fine and the blood flow was good. She also said it showed I had an enlarged valve in the left ventrical. I am extremely overweight and she said she expected as much since I am overweight and the muscle has to work harder. My question is, since she made this sound like no big deal, although that doesn't sound normal to me, does this mean, if I don't lose weight, that it could cause malfunction down the road?
