I have had stomach pain for about 5 months ,had a gastroscopy 3 months ago which showed gastritis since then its gotten worse .Saw the doc today and he booked me in for a consultation with the gastro doctor .Have been told I should ask him about a ultrasound ,does anybody no if they work or has anybody had one before?

I have had an ultrasound before.. It's painless and easy. It's a device that's almost like a radar and they move it over your stomach. They can control where they look. What it will do is id if there is any inflammation in any of your organs or any growths. It's a diagnostic tool so it won't fix anything but it will give them a better idea of what's going on. It's probably a good idea to have one in your case.
