Q: Cramping In Early Pregnency?

Hi there. My husband and I are trying to conceive. I am currently 6 days late, which is unusual for me. I am trying to hold out on taking a test because I always take one right away and it is always negative. My breasts have been swollen and sore for about 7 days and all week I have had minor cramping and I usually dont cramp until I start my period. So my question is....Is cramping normal in early pregnancy? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
i am still waiting to see if I am pregnant but I have had these pains as well they come and go and today I have had sharp ones but only for a second anyway this would be my second baby and I know my muscles arent very good since I was pregnant before, so this for me could be caused from that but everyone I have read about has had these cramps so I would say it is normal
hope this helps and good luck

Yes it is possible to cramp in early pregnancy, I did for about the first 5 weeks of mine. If you are pregnant, congrats! However I wouldnt worry about the cramping unless its major and there is blood involved (if you are pregnant)

Apparently, my cramps were just leading up to a very painful period. So disappointing...My body really tricked me this time! How do you manage to stay positive and try to keep your mind off of conceiving. I dont want to become one of those people who become obsessed and depressed about it. I know it will happen when its meant to, but how do I keep my sanity in the mean time?
