I recently had a tah with the removal of
my right ovary. I had my left ovary
removed 3 years ago. I am only 31 yrs.
Old and had been battling problems with
ovarian cysts and fibroid tumors for 7yrs.
Anyway, the pain I had been having
recently was believed to be caused from
the right ovary. After three weeks post
op, I am now having this pain on my right
side again. What could this be? I am
really frustrated. I know that I didn't
have the hysterectomy for no reason,
because it relieved so much other pain I
was having. Anyone else with this type of
problem, please respond.
Thanks

Sorry to hear about your complications
after your tah and bso.
You can probably find a lot of help and
support at a site called hystersisters
(http://www.Hystersisters.Com). They have
very active forums where you can find
other women who have been through similar
experience and can offer support and
advice about not only your hysterectomy,
but also your oophorectomy and subsequent
menopause.
Take care.
