I have been on bc for almost 8 years and I have heard from many people that you should get off bc after 5 years for health reasons. That you body needs to cleanse itself and get back to normal. That being on the pill to long could prevent pregnancy and cause other health issues since bc is causing the body to do things out of the ordinary. So does anyone know if it is bad to be on it for so long? I know that I want to get pregnant someday but my one friend was on it 13 years and now she can't get pregnant.
