Hello all,
i just started browsing these forums because I have some lower back pain I am trying to resolve. If anyone is interested, I have basically sat on chair for last 7 years writing software - a pretty good way to ruin your body/back. Shocked

i have seen suggestions to use 'combat conditioning' exercise to improve strength.

Can anyone vouch for it?

Thankyou,

patrick.

I know I have written the posts on 'combat conditioning' but I cant recommend it enough to people suffering from back pain. The 'wall walking' and 'bridging' exercises, among others are astounding in there treatment of back pain. And since yours is not a surgical problem you are a prime candidate. You could wait for others on the post to recommend it but you wd live with back pain longer than you need to!! Please invest in the course it is amazing. Let me know of your success!!

Just so I undertand, are you speaking from your own experiences with these exercises?

Oh Yes
I suffered from being thrown too many times in martial arts class. Ouch.

I was pointed towards Matt Furey by a friend at class for the fitness aspect, not thinking his system would ever heal my constant back pain. I started to try out the exercises. They were very different from anything I had ever seen b4 but were amazing. The wall walking, which involves standing three feet from a wall, then leaning backward and walking down backwards until you reach the floor! It was very difficult in the beginning but when I got good at it I noticed my back pain go away. I progressed to bridging on the floor, supporting the entire bodyweight on feet forehead and this made my back super strong and flexible and I still practice it regularly!!
