You have two sets of twins one year a part? That's crazy and it sounds like so much work! What are the statistics on that? Do twins run in your family? Maybe someone was slipping you fertility drugs, hehe.

Yea I have twins one year apart. It is alot of work but I seem to get it done with house work and school still. To say me and him didnt know if twins ran in are families so we check I have 2 sets in a 4 year gennaration none from the same person or same generation. Then my b/f on the other had has no twins in his family till now. Lol fertiltry drugs is the only think I could think of to but doc says it was a act of god.

Are they identical? My dad's an identical twin and he has a bunch of twins on his side, so does my mom. I was scared I was gonna have twins (so not ready for that) but my mom was actually disappointed when I went in for my first ultrasound and there was only one baby in there.

Don't quote me on this, but I remember being surprised on the statistics of having twins. I think it's like 1 in 40.

Quote:
the frequency of multiple fetuses varies significantly among different races. Twins occur in 1 out of every 100 pregnancies in white women compared to 1 out of every 79 pregnancies in black women. Certain areas of africa have an incredibly high frequency of twins. In some places, twins occur once in every 20 births! The occurrence of twins among asians is less common: about 1 in every 150 births.

in americans its about 1:80. Since fertility drugs have become prevalent, that rate has dropped to 1:34.

no both set are fraternal twins boy/girl, boy/girl. Both his and my parents were very saprised I was having twins. My mother said I couldnt do it with the first set and look now I am doing fine with the 2nd set. I will say I needed alot of help. Yes the doc had told me the statistics and was very suprised, and I used no fertility drugs so this happened how it happened lol.

i was hoping to get a set of identical twins but doc says he dont think there is a chance I will have another set of twins let alone them being identical.

1986 is the year I was born. Yes I have 1 set of pics on my computer that I am more then happy to show any one. The only time I have time to chat is after school and when it is nap time for them. So most of the time I am on right after school. Studing is the hard thing for me to do.

depending on your age you can ask your doc about fertility drugs but have to be carefull some people who use them end up with more then just twins.
